The interview is your chance to “sell yourself” and create a positive first impression. Check out our Career’s site to familiarise yourself with what the Wrest Point employment experience is like and what you can bring to the role you have applied for. We recommend that you thoroughly read through the position description for the role you have applied for. If you have time prior to your interview it can also be beneficial to visit Wrest Point and familiarise yourself with the property and its service offerings. It is always beneficial to arrive to your interview early, as for some of our roles, we require you to complete some paperwork prior to commencing the interview. Please make contact with one of our recruiters if you’re running late or if you are no longer able to attend your interview.

You will be required to provide examples of experiences where you have demonstrated these behaviours. You will be provided with a position description prior to your interview which outlines the core competencies and requirements of the role. We will give you the opportunity to ask questions in the interview, so come prepared!

Video Interviewing

What is a video interview, and how does it work?

A video interview is a tool that is used in our recruitment process for some of our roles at Wrest Point. It’s a great tool that allows you to think about your questions before you answer, and you can complete your interview at a time and place that best suits you. You will be asked a series of competency based questions in your interview that are related to the role in which you have applied for. You will be given a set time to review your questions and to think about your answer, and then you are given time to record your answer. This sequence repeats itself until you’re all done.

Do I have to do this?

For some of our roles, you will be invited as part of the recruitment process to complete a video interview. If you have been invited, you will need to have your interview completed prior to the closing date if you wish to still be considered for the role.

How long do I have?

We aim to allow candidates 3-5working days to complete their video interview.
